Perpetuate the quilting art form. Join the Soldier Creek Quilting Group with your willingness to learn and share all forms of quilting. No experience is necessary.

This is a recurring event and takes place very Monday.

SAIL is designed to meet the fitness needs of older adults; each class includes cardio and strength training, plus balance and flexibility exercise.

This program is intended for ages 3-5 years
Children may choose to come in costume for our library dress-up parade following storytime!

Play & Story Time! Sharing in playtimes is an excellent way to help children build social skills, promote learning and discover that the library is a destination for fun!

Children become reading-ready as they dance, sing, and laugh. Join us for a rockin' good time of unstructured play as toddlers and their caregivers dance along to kid-friendly and slightly spooky tunes.

Do you enjoy quilting? Would you like to connect with other area quilters? The Ralph Ellison Library’s quilting club meets Mondays and Fridays from 11AM to 3PM. All levels welcome.

This is an intermediate class. Participants must have already taken Beginning Tai Chi. Registration required.

Crazy 8s is an over-the-top recreational after-school club that gets kids excited about math. You'll build glow-in-the-dark structures, crack secret spy codes and play get-up-and-move games like Toilet Paper Olympics.

Recommended for ages 10 and up due to scary themes.

Come play with puppets and friends. Enjoy a time of music, movement, crafts and stories. This program is best suited for students who can follow basic song movements and listen to slightly longer stories. Suggested ages 3-6.

Bored? Hang out with us at the library. Each Monday, we'll have some type of teen activity. It could be robotics and coding, arts and crafts, music, theatre, writing, or something else entirely!  This event is for TEENS ONLY (ages 12-18).

Adults can improve their reading, spelling, and writing skills in this free class. The class meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays and is coordinated by Community Literacy Centers (CLC).

Both beginning and advanced language learners can improve their English in this class made possible by the Community Literacy Centers.

Put on your pajamas and grab your favorite stuffed friend! We will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and an occasional craft, so come join the fun! Space is limited.
