Fun and play-based, this program provides an environment rich with toys, books, and art activities and an opportunity for families to spend time together, make new friends, and talk one-on-one with early childhood and family support specialists.
This is a recurring event and takes place August 30, September 27, October 25, and November 22.

It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome. Chess boards are provided and library materials are available for further learning.
Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday. A similar club exists at multiple libraries.
