A story time for the entire family at your Downtown Library! Join us as skilled librarians introduce little ones to the library and show parents/caregivers invaluable information on reading readiness and creating excitement about reading.

Volunteers will be available to help children practice their reading skills. Kids are welcome to pick out a book to read to the volunteers or follow along as the volunteers read to them. We'll provide the books and the reading buddy!

Celebrate the first day of the Summer Reading Program by visiting the Downtown Library to sign up for the reading program, participate in Storytime at 10 AM, create some make & take crafts, and achieve your first Summer Reading Badge! 

The Total Wellness program provides FREE interactive weight loss classes for Oklahoma County residents to help prevent diabetes and heart disease. Classes meet one hour every week for eight weeks.

Sharing in parachute playtimes is an excellent way to help children build social skills, promote learning and discover that the library is a destination for fun!
