Come be an artist! We will take a look at works by a famous artist. Students will then make their own masterpiece based on the works of that artist. Make sure to wear your painting clothes.

Come by Capitol Hill after school if you're looking for something fun to do.  We will have different activities and crafts available to create at your own pace and enjoy with friends. Similar programs exist at multiple libraries.

Chess Club for KidsIt's your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Instruction is offered the first half hour for beginners followed by an hour of play for kids of all levels.

Crazy 8s is a new after-school math club designed to get kids fired up about math.  Every week Crazy 8ers build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess . .

Young readers build "pawsitive" self-esteem, self-confidence and improve their reading skills while reading aloud to certified therapy dogs. Similar events exist at multiple libraries.

Bored? Hang out with us at the library. Each Monday, we'll have some type of teen activity.

Adults can improve their reading, spelling, and writing skills in this free class. The class meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays and is coordinated by Community Literacy Centers (CLC).

Join us for the Black History month film series. This Emmy award-winning movie is about a black woman in the South who was born into slavery and lives to become a part of the civil rights movement in the 1960s.

Put on your pajamas and grab your favorite stuffed friend! We will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and an occasional craft, so come join the fun! Space is limited.This is a recurring event and takes place on Mondays.

If you're brand new to robotics and coding, this boot camp is for you! Spend an hour with us learning the basics of Dash and Dot robots (Ages 6-12) and LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots (Ages 13-18).
