Welcome to the Warr Acres Homeschool STEM Club! The second Thursday of each month we will explore and learn something new in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math. 

Calling all Preschoolers, ages 3.5-5! What will be going on at the library today? Something exciting just for you! Will it be playtime, storytime, parachute play, or music play? No matter what, it will be fun, so come and see!

Unleash your inner bird-flinger at our Angry Birds IRL event! Team up, stack up cardboard towers, and take aim with plushie birds to knock them down. Earn points with every hit and see which team can topple the most targets.

Take a break! Join us to meet new friends or spend time as a family playing together. Playing tabletop games helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication.

Personalize your kitchen with a hands-on make and take activity for teens and adults. Bring your apron or tea towel back for one of our upcoming cooking programs!

Join us at the library for a chance to read to a loving therapy dog. Reading to dogs allows children to practice literacy skills in an encouraging, non-judgmental environment.

Looking for service hours? Trying to build up your resume early? Or just trying to meet some friends your age? Join Bethany's Teen Service Team! 

Improve your English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This intermediate level class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by exploring the warm, rustic flavors of Irish heritage! Join us for a hands-on baking session where you’ll learn how to make a classic Irish Apple Cake—a simple and delicious dessert with a rich cultural history.

The Cricut is a computer-controlled cutting machines, designed for home crafters. The machines are used for cutting paper, felt, vinyl, fabric and other materials such as leather, matboard, and wood.

Learn the basics of becoming a U.S. Citizen! The Southern Oaks Public Library is partnering with Community Literary Centers to provide free weekly classes that explore the steps of the naturalization process.

Open to all teens aged 12-18. Apply online so that you can receive volunteer hours for your participation. New members may join in September or January.
