Celebrate Day of the Dead by sculpting and painting your own spirited alebrije! Alebrijes are colorful, mythical creatures made by artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico. Now, you can carry on their traditions here at the Bethany Library!

Embark on an exploration of the Cherokee syllabary at the library! Created by Sequoyah in 1821, the syllabary features 85 different symbols, but you'll search for just a few on your adventure and learn a new Cherokee word in the process.

November is family month, so get a couple of crafts the family can work on together! You can work on a "basket of thanks" and a fall harvest craft. We'll also have some coloring sheets and a book list of titles to read together.
