Here at the Downtown Library, we’re always looking for fun ways to connect readers with our collection of books.

Sign up for your own personalized book box, filled with some great new YA reads selected just for YOU. You'll receive 2 new YA books (published in the last 1 to 1.5 years) checked out to your library card along with some fabulous fun treats.

The book discussion will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 2 pm at the Edmond Library. It is encouraged for children in grades 3+ and their caregivers to read and discuss together. This is where you register for the event.

Check out the Solar Eclipse display and activity in the Adult side of the library. Make a solar eclipse craft and ask for a pair of solar eclipse glasses to safely view the Annular Solar Eclipse on October 14th.

Feeling crabby? Craft it out with the latest kit from the Midwest City Library! Our take & make kits help kiddos improve motor skills and follow step by step directions. Scissors, a marker, and glue are required for this kit.

Monarch butterflies are known for their migrations across the continent. Oklahoma is one of the last stops they make for food and rest. Learn about how you can make an impact on them and make a fun ring at the same time!

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with a library-themed Loteria game. Game sets include everything you need to play the game.  (While supplies last.) 

Drop by the Village Library anytime from October 1st onward to pickup a free pair of eclipse glasses for the upcoming solar eclipse on October 14th. All you have to do is fill out a super short survey and you're set to go!
