Let's get stronger, together! Evidence suggests that Tai Chi is an effective means of improving balance, strengthening muscles, and building confidence to prevent falls.

Improve your reading and other basic skills in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-11:30am. 

Join us in the Creation Station to learn about any current events in the city council or state legislature. There will even have more information about our new library opening at the end of 2023!

The Intermediate Tai Chi class teaches participants ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements. Participants of the class must complete Beginners' Tai Chi instruction.

Join us for a weekly sensory storytime on Thursdays at the Downtown Library at 11:00am! Connect with other families while enjoying stories and activities designed for children with sensory sensitivities.

Crazy 8s is a math club unlike any other! It offers unique, high-energy math activities that appeal to kids of all math abilities. Increase your math-literacy skills by attending this 8-week math club. Registration is required.

Join us in the children's area of the Belle Isle library for Children Reading to Dogs! 

Starting January 5th, join us on the first Thursday of every month through May!

Improve your English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This intermediate level class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm. 

Teens, come learn a new way to create art on a canvas that doesn't involve paint! Participants will embroider a canvas to make a visually stunning work of art.

CAUTION: Sharp needles will be used in this event.
