Program Description

Event Description

Water is critical to maintaining a successful landscape or vegetable garden but can be expensive and time-consuming. Harvested rainwater can serve as an irrigation source for landscape plants, lawns, and vegetable gardens and reduce the amount of municipal water used in the garden, which can save money on water bills. This workshop will cover the basics of watering so that you know how much water your plants need and can have success with your garden this summer.

This class will be led by Kelsey Whorton, Water Conservation Coordinator with the City of Oklahoma City.

After the class you can also check out gardening tools!
