Program Description

Event Description

No human has walked on the Moon since the Apollo 17 mission in December 1972. This time, though, the astronauts will stay much longer than the few days of the Apollo 17 mission. NASA's Exploration Technology Development Program is working on everything that will be needed to make the Moon a place where a crew of astronauts can live for months. You can be a Moon explorer, too. Practice by building your own Moon habitat with your teammates, just like the astronauts will. Then make some delicious Moon Cookies as a reward for your hard work!

Moon Cookies contain wheat, peanuts, and milk. Guests with allergies to any of these ingredients may leave after the habitat building is complete, before any food is brought out, and they will only miss a small portion of the program.
