Program Description
Event Description
Participants will learn four skills that are at the root of computational thinking and that will help them do better in life as well! They will break down a problem into smaller pieces, find similarities between things, pull out specific differences to make one solution work for multiple problems, and list steps that can be followed to finish a task. All of these will be practiced in fun ways during a "Game with NO Instructions" (?!!) and with a LEGO building challenge. This program is most suitable for children in upper elementary grades as they must be able to read and easily do basic math.
