Join other video game lovers for a fun-filled program full of gaming, group challenges, and other activities. Playing video games with others helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication. Gaming is also a great way to reduce stress and boost your mood! Come meet new friends, explore other worlds, and learn about the many resources your neighborhood library has to offer!
Southern Oaks Game Night! This game night is a special Spring Break Edition for anyone under 18 years of age and attending school. Adults can browse the library while children enjoy some games we remember playing. Please join us for a fun afternoon of Wii fun, and a tournament for MARIO KART via the Wii. Various games on the XBox360's & explore the lone PS3 we call Darth Vader. We will also have board and card games available to play if you're more of a nostalgic gamer. Come out and help us make your kids' evening a fun one to start the break off proper like.
