Join other video game lovers for a fun-filled program full of gaming, group challenges, and other activities. Playing video games with others helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication. Gaming is also a great way to reduce stress and boost your mood! Come meet new friends, explore other worlds, and learn about the many resources your neighborhood library has to offer!
Southern Oaks Game Night! This game night is a special Summer Break Edition for anyone 18 years and under and/or attending school. Adults can browse the library while children enjoy some games we remember playing. Please join us for a tournament of fun superhero and supervillains fighting, and various games played on various game systems dating back to 2000. Various games on the Darth Vader from 2006as we call it. We will also have board and card games available to play if you're more of a nostalgic gamer. Come out and help us make your kids' evening a fun one this summer!
