Program Description

Event Description

Enjoy some poetry while you take a walk! Walk the Village's Poetry Walk alone or with family, friends, or neighbors. Read a poem, a line at a time, while you go as slow or fast as you like! The walk is along our new, scenic promenade sidewalk-- it's less than a quarter mile long and ends at the library, where you can come inside to collect a prize!

The poem can be enjoyed in three separate ways:

Printed signs along the path (one line per sign)

Braille signs along the path, thanks to signs provided by the Oklahoma Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped

Audio recording of the poem available for those using a smartphone.
