Parachute Play for Toddlers 1-2 years old Come in for a safe landing and enjoy parachute games at the library. Beautiful and sometimes calming, a parachute can create soft, whispering sounds or loud, rippling noises. Parachute games encourage cooperative, noncompetitive play, listening skills, and reinforce turn-taking and sharing. Â Similar events exist at multiple libraries. Â
