Event Description
Did you know owls swallow their food whole, bones and all? After digesting what they can, owls regurgitate a little lump of fur and bones. These are called owl pellets. Scientist use these pellets to study animal ecology. On October 14th at 2:30pm we will be dissecting to find the bones and identifying them. Resources for this program are limited. We will be working in groups to discover more about our owl friends. Registration for each person is required. A guardian is asked for any ages 8 year old and up.
