Event Description
Do you believe in the power of reading, the importance of literacy, and the fact that books should be as inclusive and diverse as readers are? If so, come join other "bookish" types on the last Monday of every month from 6:30-8:00 PM when we will sip a little something while we share some great conversation about what we've read. Discover a new author or series, or laugh cry and think deeply as we explore lives and lands that look like our own or are vastly different.
This month's book will be Wrecked by Heather Henson. Told from from different perspectives, almost-seventeen-year-old Miri skips school, rebuilds motorcycles, and befriends her new neighbor Fen to distract herself from knowing exactly what her dad Poe does for a living in the knobs of Kentucky.
