Event Description
See how strong you can build a table made out of paper! In this challenge, kids (1) follow the design process to build a sturdy table out of paper tubes; (2) make paper support more weight by changing its shape; and (3) figure out ways to keep the table legs from buckling.
We have an example at the Info desk with four books stacked on it! Come check it out! FYI, you will need a roll of tape, preferably MASKING TAPE.
Kits are one per FAMILY. Any duplicate registrations will be deleted. Kits can be picked up at Northwest Library from Wednesday, September 29th, through Saturday, October 2nd. Registered customers must pick up kits by Saturday at 4:00 PM or call the library at (405) 231-8650 to make alternate pick up arrangements, as any remaining kits will be made available to waitlisted customers on Sunday.
