Program Description
Event Description
Celebrate National Native American Heritage Month with us at the Belle Isle Library!
We're excited to present a double-feature of episodes from the critically acclaimed OETA documentary series, which highlights pivotal moments, people, and events that have contributed to the history of Oklahoma. Our first episode will take you on a journey through the real account of the Osage Murders, which inspired the best-selling book and movie "Killers of the Flower Moon."
Next, we'll explore the story of how the tribes in Indian Territory decided the best way to preserve their way of life was to become a state. Make sure to attend this event!
