Event Description

Metro Writes is a monthly club for writers of all experience levels to hone their skills, meet new friends and get inspired! Each month, we'll have a different speaker followed by networking time. Better yet, it's free!

This month, meet romance author Collette Carmon! She will discuss world-building in speculative fiction and how writers can build more consistent and supportive writing communities.

Collette Carmon is a multi-award-winning romantasy author who offers readers an escape through fiction. She is an outspoken advocate for ending poverty, childhood hunger, and breaking trauma cycles and also champions opportunities for Black and brown communities and the protection of LGBTQ+ people.

Registration is encouraged but not required.
