Event Description
Join us for an informative session with a public information officer from the State Election Board. Learn about the measures in place to ensure election security and integrity in our state. The presentation will cover:
- Overview of voting systems and technology
- Security protocols and safeguards
- Voter registration process
- Ballot handling and counting procedures
Following the presentation, the public information officer will answer questions about election security and the voting process. Questions should be pre-submitted between Tuesday, September 3 and Tuesday, September 17 at the library (look for the red, white, and blue box in the lobby), by phone at 405-231-8650, or by email at askalibrarian@metrolibrary.org. Whether you're a first-time voter or simply interested in learning more about how our elections work, this non-partisan event offers valuable insights into our democratic system.

Absentee Ballot Request Deadline- October 21
The Samuel King Chapter DAR will host a voter registration table in the Edmond Library lobby all-day on Tuesday, September 19. They will also be present at the presentation on Tuesday, September 24.
