Program Description

Event Description

Learn the history of Cinco de Mayo, the commemoration of the victory of the Mexican army over the French army on May 5, 1862, and how it is celebrated. Then fire up your tastebuds and join us as we have a salsa tasting. Latin and Hispanic influences are changing our flavor preferences in the United States, one chip at a time. We will be trying and grading some of the most popular brands of store bought salsa to decide if the brand you have at home is really the best. Preregister as space is limited.
