Event Description

Blast off with Oklahoma's Space Pioneers!  Since NASA's creation in July of 1958, did you know that Oklahoma has the distinction of having an Astronaut in every phase of the space program? From Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo to the moon, Skylab, the space shuttle, and building the International Space Station, Oklahomans played an integral part. Back on Earth, engineers and mathematicians from Oklahoma made it possible to send them to the moon and get them back alive.
And in our second documentary, join scientists as they use NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope to peer deep in time to hunt for the first stars and galaxies in our universe and the atmospheres of distant worlds.
