Event Description

Join us for a discussion of 1000 Years of Joys and Sorrows, a memoir by celebrated Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei. In collaboration with the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, Capitol Hill Library will host a discussion of the book and modern and contemporary Chinese history. This event's speaker is Dr. Xiaobing Li, Don Betz Chair in International Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Free copies of the book are available at the library for participants interested in joining.
