Vincent van Gogh-Inspired Pointillism for Kids

Here's a fun art project you can try with hardly any prep. We used a cheap canvas from the craft store but you could easily use a coloring book page or blank piece of paper. We were inspired by the song “Vincent” by Don McLean (and just a little by the song’s muse: Vincent van Gogh) which was released October 24, 1971.

 

Supplies

  • Canvas or Sturdy Paper
  • Pencil to trace or draw 
  • Plate or Palette
  • Paints
