Looking northwest over Sears Department store on the NW corner of NW 23rd and Pennsylvania. To the left, the L-shaped area fenced off will open as Shepherd Mall on November 5, 1964, and will be the city's first enclosed shopping mall.
Attention:
The Ralph Ellison Library at 2000 NE 23rd St is closed for upgrades beginning April 16. We anticipate reopening on May 6.
All libraries will be closed on Sunday, April 20, for Easter.
