45th Infantry: 36th Division Code Talkers, WWI

Description:

The Choctaw Code Talkers were a group of Choctaw Indians from Oklahoma whose actions during the waning days of World War I played key roles in several decisive scenarios, ultimately helping to turn the tide of the war.  Pioneering the use of Native American languages as military code, the men were able to relay crucial intelligence while managing to completely stymie enemy code breakers.
