St. Patrick's Church

St. Patrick's Church

Description:

St. Patrick Catholic Church was the only Oklahoma City building designed by Oklahoma architect, Robert L. Jones of Murray Jones Murray, a Tulsa firm. Built by the parishioners, and opened in Sept 1962, the postcard depict the 50 giant, stylized angels embedded in concrete panels which surround the glass sanctuary. Designed by Frank Kacmarcik, the angels symbolize "heavenly Jerusalem".
