Income Tax Forms
All Metropolitan Libraries provide the ability for you to download and print state and federal tax forms for free. Metropolitan Library System staff can assist you in locating the forms you need.
How to Print My Tax Forms
• Print Federal and State Tax Forms at the Library: Visit any of our 19 Metro Library locations to print your free tax forms. To find the nearest library location, please visit metrolibrary.org/locations.
• Print Federal Tax Forms at Home: Access federal tax information and print federal tax forms and publications for current and past years from the IRS website. You can order federal tax forms and publications by mail or phone. You may also print and download select current federal tax forms by clicking here.
• Print State Tax Forms at Home: Access state tax information and print state tax forms and publications for current and past years from the Oklahoma Tax Commission website. You cannot order state forms and publications by mail. You can complete your forms online at the Oklahoma Taxpayer Access Point. You may also print and download select state tax forms by clicking here.

Free File Options & Tax Help
There are several options for electronically filing your taxes. If you meet certain criteria, a number of sites offer free preparation and electronic filing of state and/or federal returns. The full list of free online filing resources is on the IRS Free File: Guided Tax Software website.
File free federal and state returns with an IRS Free File Trusted Partner if your income in 2023 was $79,000 or less. Features of Free File include: easy Q&A guidance to fill out the 1040 form, supports Form 1040-NR, and viewing and printing tax returns. Please note: some services may not include state tax returns for free filing and some tools have specific income requirements to use.

AARP Tax-Aide
AARP Tax-Aide provides tax assistance free of charge to anyone, with a special focus on taxpayers who are 50 or older or who have low to moderate income. AARP Tax-Aide is provided by a network of volunteers on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Information needed for AARP Tax Assistance:
- Proof of identification (photo ID)
- Social Security cards for you, your spouse, and dependents (an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) assignment letter may be substituted for you, your spouse, and your dependents if you do not have a Social Security number
- Proof of foreign status, if applying for an ITIN
- Birth dates for you, your spouse, and dependents on the tax return
- Wage and earning statements (Form W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, 1099-MISC) from all employers
- Interest and divident statements from banks (Form 1099)
- Health Insurance Exemption Certificate, if received
- A copy of last year's federal and state returns, if available
- Proof of bank account routing and account numbers for direct deposit such as a blank check
- To file taxes electronically on a married-filing-joint tax return, both spouses must be present to sign the required forms
- Total paid for daycare profider and the daycare provider's tax identifying number such as their Social Security number or business Employer Identification Number
- Forms 1095-A, B and C, Health Coverage Statements
- Copies of income transcripts from IRS and state, if applicable

VITA Help
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $64,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.
