    LearningExpress Library contains study guides and practice tests to help you prepare for career- and school-related tests (GED, ACT, SAT, ASVAB, CDL, NCLEX-RN, etc), job and career resources to help you search for a job, write a resume, and guide you through the interview process, and self-paced tutorials for computer and internet basics as well as for popular software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), Adobe Photoshop, and the Windows and Mac operating systems.

    Teens who are thinking about college may want to think about a series of seminars beginning soon at the Ralph Ellison Library, 2000 N.E. 23rd Street, 424-1437.

    The program is called “YP13 Career Experience” and teen participants in this series of seminars will be eligible to attend a Job Fair scheduled for November 2. The seminars will meet on October 5 and on October 12, both held from 1:00-3:00 p.m.,

    It’s never too early to begin thinking about the process of selecting the right college for you, but you can wait too long.

    That’s why Edmond Library, 10 S. Boulevard, 341-9282, is partnering with Oklahoma College Assistance Program and the University of Oklahoma Writing Center to present three college planning programs in September and October. The sessions will meet on Tuesday evenings.
