About Southern Oaks Library
Southern Oaks Library opened its doors in its current location in 1975. This library serves the diverse educational, informational and cultural needs of south Oklahoma City and Oklahoma County. On September 25, 2012, a renovated Southern Oaks Library opened, showcasing its expansion from 16,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet. Local sculptor Joe Slack designed several sculptures outside the library entitled “Cover to Cover.”

Financial Literacy for Kids Scavenger Hunt
Money, money, money! Kids will learn some financial literacy skills while completing this month's scavenger hunt! Find all of the pictures in the library and get a small prize at the Info Desk.
The Intermediate Tai Chi class teaches participants ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements. Beginners Tai Chi or previous Tai Chi experience is helpful.
