Big Changes are Coming to The Village Library

Big Changes are Coming to the Village Library!

Soon, The Village Library will have a new look!

The library will be closed to the public from Monday, Jan. 21 for approximately six weeks (we hope to reopen around Mar. 10).

While your local library may be closed, we are still here to serve your information needs.

Beginning Jan. 21, library customers should drop off their books, including interlibrary loan (ILL) items, at any of the other 18 Metro Libraries in Oklahoma County. Customers who place items on hold or reserve ILL items through the library website will need to identify another location for pickup during the closed period.

If you do not select an alternate pickup location, your normal holds will be suspended until The Village Library reopens. If you have any ILL material that comes in while The Village Library is closed, and you have not changed the pickup location, it will be sent back to the originating library and you will need to request it again. After Mar. 10, please remember to change your hold pickup location, including your ILL pickup location, back to The Village Library.

Don't forget about our digital collection!

The library has a robust digital collection including access to thousands of eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies and music albums through OverDrive, Hoopla and Kanopy.
