This is the busiest library in the Metropolitan Library System, annually circulating more than 1.2 million books and other materials. Originally built in 1972, it was renovated and expanded in 2000 to add 10,000 square feet. The renovated library includes the Fred P. Snyder Quiet Reading Room, a special children's area, expanded meeting room space, a beautiful round room for programs, a "teen corner," and all new furnishings.

Book drop: West side of building, pull-off space available from Boulevard.
