Time for an Immunity Boost!

It is time to get your immunity up and in gear for winter! According to AccuWeather, the common illnesses that peak during wintertime include:

 

 

  • Seasonal flu
  • Common cold
  • Norovirus (stomach flu)
  • Acute ear infections
  • and Bronchiolitis (often affects children)

With these going around, it is best to be prepared with some ways to help boost your immunity. Two main ways include proper eating habits and exercise. Like Harvard Health Publications said, “Healthy immune system warriors need good, regular nourishment.” Exercise flushes out the bacteria in the body to help increase your immunity to illness as long it is not overdone.
